Submitting Your Artwork

Supplying Your DTF Artwork

At JAMS UK, the quality of your finished print depends entirely on the quality of the artwork you supply. To ensure your design prints clean, sharp, and vibrant, please make sure your files meet the requirements below. Taking a moment to prepare your artwork correctly helps us deliver the best possible results on your clothing.

If you’re unsure about anything, our team is always happy to help.

Accepted File Types

We accept the following file formats for printing:

  • PNG (recommended — supports transparency)

  • PSD (Photoshop files with layers)

These formats give us the cleanest edges, best colour accuracy, and proper transparency for high‑quality DTF transfers.

If you only have your files as PDF, JPEG or GIF please submit them for background removal

Artwork Quality & Resolution

For the best print results:

  • Supply the highest‑resolution version of your artwork

  • Aim for 300 DPI at the size you want it printed

  • Avoid screenshots, low‑resolution images, or compressed files

  • Blurry or pixelated artwork will produce a poor‑quality print

If we believe your file won’t print well, we’ll contact you before production.

Transparency / Background Removal

DTF printing requires clean edges. Please ensure:

  • Your PNG or PSD has a transparent background

  • No unwanted white boxes, shadows, or artefacts

  • No flattened backgrounds unless they are part of the design

If you need help removing a background, just let us know.

Colours

DTF printing uses CMYK‑based colour reproduction. For the most accurate results:

  • Supply artwork in RGB or CMYK

  • Avoid neon or metallic colours (these cannot be reproduced exactly)

  • If you need specific colour matching, include a note with your order

Proofing & Approval

We never print anything without your approval.

Once your artwork is checked by our team, we’ll send you a digital proof to confirm size, placement, and colours. Production only begins once you approve the proof.
